☃️ Is Canon 5D Mark Iii Still A Good Camera
5D mkiii was an utterly outstanding camera when it was new and still is. Just its autofocus capabilities alone put it leagues ahead of any comparable new $700 camera. Pair it with an L series lens for best results. The MkIII is a good camera. Will do all of the above better than the T3i. $700 is a good price.
Options. 04-30-2013 08:49 AM. First go into your menu settings "Clear all settings". Than set the dial on the left side to 'M'. Now turn the small wheel on the right top and the big wheel on the back for adjustment. You may have put the camera in 'silent shooting', too. More likely than live View mode. EB.
As far as good. I’m thinking of upgrading to a used 5D Mark III and getting a Canon 24-70L F2.8 to replace my crappy Sigma 17-50 F2.8. Bigger sensor = more light and better camera performance I would guess then. The other point being: The 5DMKIII and 24-70L is about the same price as a 5DMKIV.
On the lower end of that is the Canon 5D IV, which is still one of the best DSLRs on the market. Then there is the toe in the mirrorless waters with the EOS R, which had a mixed reception. However
The menu system on the Canon 7D Mark II closely resembles that of the Canon 5D Mark III. There are 6 main icons and dots underneath that represent sub-menus. Although everything is grouped together by function, the menu system on the camera is quite extensive and can be difficult to understand, especially for a beginner or someone who has never
The best budget Canon camera. With modern autofocus and good handling, the EOS R10 is a compact, affordable powerhouse that’s perfect for first-time Canon buyers. Canon EOS 5D Mark IV. View
Unfortunately the in-camera sharpening is not up to the job and produces noticeable halos and an ugly electronic looking image. I think Canon have displeased far more people in adding so little improvements to video on their 5D Mark III than they have pleased C300 shooters who have a clean image quality advantage for their $15,000.
The Canon EOS R5 incorporates a top LCD screen – much more akin to my 5D Mark III. The Canon EOS R6 Mark II loses the top screen to allow for a more traditional mode wheel. To the point that, despite the R6 being the clear choice for my own needs in every single department I was still seriously considering buying an R5.
The Canon EF 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM Lens is a nice lens and the Canon EOS 5D Mark III is of course an awesome camera. This photo is basically as-shot. This photo is basically as-shot.

Due to unfortunate circumstances my a7iii was stolen. I only do photography as a hobby (hobbyist / enthusiast) and I’m looking to replace my camera with the budget I have. I found a very cheap (in my opinion) 5d2 for 350$ CAD with only 10k shutter count. There’s also a 6D for 700$ with 60k shutter a
My point was the D3 the preceded the D700 and still easily bests it for autofocus (and of course bests the Canon 5D Mark I) so calling the D700 the first "mature" FF dslr is mistaken as is calling the 5D Mark 1. (Though to be fair to Canon the first 5D was released a good bit before the D3--like 2 years.)
The Canon 5D Mark III was and still is one of the best Canon full frame cameras your money can buy. The fact that it came out in 2012 and Canon still hasn’t released its successor is really a testament to how good it is and how relevant it still is in today’s market. With great image and video quality, rugged body, full manual control and

About a month ago I purchased a Canon 6D to try it out with my landscape and travel photography. I have been using the 5D Mark III ever since it was released, and while it’s a great camera, it is missing a few features that I have come to appreciate with some of the consumer-level and mirrorless cameras (such as the Canon 70D and Fuji X-T1, for example).
